My brother Alexander and I (Frederik) started ScootWorld in March 2012 with the idea of revolutionizing the skateboarding world. The idea came from the fact that Alexander was already riding stunt scooters at the time and it was an obvious opportunity. The market for stunt scooters, skateboards and equipment was generally very niche at the time and competitors were few and far between. This also meant that there was a so-called "gap" in the market, both in terms of stores selling these products, but also a lack of customer service and guidance within the industry.

But how do you get started, two brothers aged 17 and 13 in an industry where we had relatively limited knowledge and means to start our journey?

With the help of our parents and both of our children's savings, we were able to afford to buy products to stock our first store and start serving interested customers in the best possible way. It was a hit! and a successful start to our journey. It also gave us the drive to continue and build our ScootWorld universe to new heights.

The more time we spent on our little project, the more knowledge we gained to create our very first and own brand, "Striker Scooters", from scratch.

It was a goal and a milestone that could be crossed off when we received our first shipment and started selling the brand in our own store and to retailers around the world.

In 2015, we felt ready to take our passion and DNA and build our first website. It was very important to us that we could provide the same customer service, guidance and thoughtful product catalog online as we did in-store, which also meant we could reach more customers than just having a physical store.

Under our company ScootWorld ApS, we have 8 different brands that we have built and designed from scratch. It is important to us that we are involved in all the processes during our production, so we know what quality we offer our customers. In addition, we also have the opportunity to guide and advise on which model and size is suitable for the age of our customers.

Before we begin the process of a new product or model, we always take into account the feedback from our customers, both on our prototype, but also what is missing in the market at the time. During our product process, there are many steps before we launch a new product or model.

First of all, we have a design process where we work with the factory and our designer to select the colors and shapes that fit together. Then we have a prototype made and tested by our riders to ensure that the new product has the improvements and quality we want before we release it to all our customers.

It's obviously a long but very important process, as we as a company have to vouch for the new product.

It's 2023 and we have now been in business for over 10 years.

We are currently in the process of expanding the ScootWorld brand and we currently have online universes in Denmark, Germany, Sweden and an overall universe for all of Europe.

Our goal is to continue to provide a personalized service and the right guidance to anyone looking for the right equipment for their action sports hobby. We hope to see our brands in many more action sports stores around the world, and this can only be done through hard work and dedication, which we will continue to have going forward.
